• No. 3 is an original handmade greeting card, part of a Limited edition greeting card collection, painted using high quality professional acrylic pigments and mixed media, gold leaf on heavy acrylic paper
• All cards from this collection are inspired by the artisanal textile techniques from India, and will make a beautiful artwork when framed.
• No. 3 is inspired by the 3000 year old textile technique of Kalamkari,   originating in Andhra Pradesh, state of India. Kalamkari is known for its motifs  that allude to the everyday life of commoners and is painted with organic dyes derived from vegetables. Usually found in yellow, blue, red, burgundy colors, I have chosen to use a completely different color palette.
• The piece is 5 x 7 ” and comes with an envelope.
• Each greeting card has been varnished to provide longevity and protection from dust, sunlight and moisture.
• All artworks are one of a kind and entirely hand made in my Bay Area, California studio.
